Tom Holland Says Spider-Man 3 Cast Want to Watch Black Widow Ahead of May Premiere

There is little doubt that everyone is eager to finally watch Black Widow. Interestingly, even the cast of Spider-Man: No Way Home feels the same way. Tom Holland has just revealed that his co-stars have been trying to get Marvel Studios to let them see the highly anticipated flick ahead of its May premiere.

Holland is currently working on Spider-Man 3 but he took time to talk to Screenrant to promote his new movie Cherry. At one point, the Avengers: Endgame star admitted that he has tried to convince Marvel to let him and his castmates view the upcoming Scarlett Johansson film before everybody else.

"We've been pestering Marvel for weeks to see if they'll set up a screening for Black Widow for us, but they haven't. So if you're watching, Marvel, sort it out, because we want to watch it," Holland said with a laugh.

It's a relatable wish considering that everyone has been hoping to watch Black Widow since last year. Although the movie was supposed to hit theaters in May 2020, it had to be pushed back due to COVID-19. After being moved to a November 2020 release date, Disney ultimately decided to push the premiere to May 2021.

For now, Disney and Marvel Studios appear to be sticking to the film's current release date. However, there are speculations that this could change yet again. There is also a possibility that the studios will choose to give Black Widow both a theatrical and digital release on Disney+.

Black Widow also stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz. The film is scheduled for release on May 7, 2021. Spider-Man: No Way Home will premiere on December 17, 2021.
