Tom Holland Reveals Spider-Man's Biggest Superpower

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a month away from premiering and as a new trailer dropped, a fan event for the movie was held and none other than Tom Holland graced all those who attended. There, he revealed his character’s biggest superpower, and no, it is not blasting webs nor climbing walls nor his speed. He even blurted out an iconic line of the superhero.

As a new trailer was released for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home, a fan event was held in both New Mexico and Los Angeles and Tom Holland himself graced the event to answer lingering questions of the fans in relation to Spider-Man and the movie. To applaud him, he did not spoil anything, though. More than that, Holland had time to reflect on being Peter Parker as the trilogy is about to close.

In the event, as reported by CBR, Holland reflected, "My biggest thing when coming into this world was to really hone in on the youthfulness of what it means to be a teenager. I really wanted to lean into the idea that this is a 15-year-old superhero, meaning there are lots of stuff that you'll see throughout the films where Peter Parker does everyday things but in a way that Spider-Man would do them."

Holland even used an iconic line of Spider-Man to describe his journey, "The world's changing. Everyone has a voice, and we have a responsibility to do the right thing and help our neighbor and look after one another. That's exactly what Spider-Man stands for, so with great power comes great responsibility."

More than that, Holland revealed the biggest superpower of Spider-Man and surprisingly, it is not shooting webs, speed as if flying, or his fighting skills – it’s Peter Parker. Holland said, "Spider-Man's biggest superpower is Peter Parker, and that's because of his humility. What sets him apart from the rest is that he's unable to not do the right thing.”

Holland added, “For me, as an actor, bringing that to life has been so fun, because it's sometimes incredibly frustrating. Sometimes I read the scripts before I perform the scenes, and I just want Peter Parker to be selfish one time. He always puts everybody else first, and therefore he kind shits on himself. So for me, it's his humility and therefore Peter Parker."
