Tom Holland Calls Out Anthony Mackie After Hearing That His Co-Star Hasn’t Seen Spider-Man: Homecoming

Marvel fans might have loved Tom Holland's first standalone Marvel movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, but the British actor's Avengers: Infinity War co-star Anthony Mackie wasn't as eager to watch the film at all.

Attending this year's Ace Comic Convention together, Mackie and Holland went up on a panel together to field questions from Marvel fans about Spider-Man: Homecoming. During the panel, Mackie confessed that he still hasn't seen the film, claiming that he still needs to "watch this movie."

Holland looks shocked when Mackies makes his confession and the Spider-Man: Homecoming star bites back, joking that he hasn't seen "the Falcon movie either. Oh Wait, there isn't one."

The audience laughs and roars at Holland's joke and fans on social media have given Holland thumbs-ups for "the perfect burn."

Of course, fans have no need to worry over Holland and Mackie's relationship. The two have been making fun of each other ever since they started working on Avengers: Infinity War together with the Falcon actor being known to throw jabs at Marvel's Spider-Man star every chance he can get during the film's promotional campaign. All of the insults and the jokes that the two throw at each other's way are simply done in jest and have very little meaning to them.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas. Spider-Man: Far From Home is due to begin production this summer.
