Tom Holland has gone on record on more than one occasion that he's uncertain about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And while Spider-Man: No Way Home marked the end of an era, it still pretty much confirmed that Peter Parker's journey is far from over. But after the epic multiversal sequel, it's back to square one for Spidey, and webheads are intrigued as to what's in store for our friendly neighborhood wallcrawler moving forward.

Apparently, Holland is already coming up with ideas for what's going to be Peter's next adventure in the billion-dollar franchise and if he had things his way, he'd love to see Spidey team up with an unexpected MCU character. Appearing on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, the British star revealed that he and Florence Pugh have actually discussed the idea of Spider-Man and Yelena Belova aka Black Widow II sharing the screen together in a potential crossover project.

Here's what he had to say: "[A Spider-Man and Black Widow II crossover] hasn't been suggested to the big bosses yet, but Florence and I have definitely spoken about it, and hopefully one day we can make that happen. That would be very cool."

When you think about it, the idea is not entirely impossible and one way or another, Spidey and Yelena's paths will most definitely cross. Whether it happens soon or sometime during Phase 5, no one knows for sure. I gotta say, a team-up project between the two characters who are basically polar opposites isn't something I thought about before but it has huge potential to be great.

Meanwhile, Spider-Man: No Way Home is still breaking box office records across the globe.
