Tom Hiddleston Reveals His Favorite Improvised Scene In The MCU

Marvel Studios various entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has always given its stars a lot of room to improvise their scenes and their lines. However, among the many significantly memorable improvised lines from the MCU, Tom Hiddleston's favorite moment comes from the last Thor movie, Thor: Ragnarok.

Attending this year's Ace Comic-Con together with his Avengers: Infinity War co-star Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Hiddleston talked about various things about his films in the MCU. Speaking with fans at the panel (via ComicBook.com), the Asgardian God of Mischief decided to reveal his favorite improvised scene in the Marvel franchise, naming the "get help" sequence in Thor: Ragnarok as his number one improve.

The "get help" scene isn't difficult to remember – in the sequence Thor (Chris Hemsworth) convinces Loki that they should use an old childhood trick to try to get past the Grandmaster's (Jeff Goldblum) guards so they can steal a ship and get off the lost planet of Sakaar. And the steps to the ruse? With Loki in his arms, Thor enters the rooms screaming for help at the guards, only to throw his brother into their unsuspecting arms.

"I think that the one that's kind of had its own life after the film is ‘get help,'" Hiddleston said. "We literally just came up with it on the day. As something, this idea that this is a trick that Thor and Loki used to, you know, they used to use it as a game when they were kids and they stopped doing it a long time ago but it used to work and it might just work this time. They got one last ace up their sleeve. And the idea that Loki hated it, and just was like, ‘I don't want to do it. It's humiliating. And that Thor was like, ‘You're going to love it! Come on!' in a big brother way. And then it works. In that moment, I always love the fact that it wasn't just a funny moment, but actually, you understand something deeper about them as brothers, and I think those moments are really special."

The scene was pretty memorable, and many consider the "get help" sequences one of the best jokes in Ragnarok. Of course, there are other great scenes in the MCU – that "I don't want to go Mr. Stark" scene from Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. in Infinity War broke so many hearts when the Avengers movie was screened.
