Tom Hiddleston “Can’t Believe” Indiana Jones Icon Is His New MCU Co-Star

Despite losing the fan favorite Trickster God in Avengers: Infinity War, Tom Hiddleston will soon be gracing our screens again once he returns on Loki Season 2. Amid his return, Loki Season 2 also got a new cast alongside them, and one of them happens to be Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom actor Ke Huy Quan, who also recently starred and won his first Golden Globe Award by taking part in Everything, Everywhere All At Once. Quan shares his intriguing first encounter with the MCU star.

Recently speaking with the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz, Quan details how shocked he was to have seen a longtime MCU favorite fanboying over his appearance on the Loki set. Check out Quan’s full story below:

“There was one particular day of shooting, and [Tom Hiddleston] found something on set,” Quan says, “He saw it and he said, “Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I’m working with Short Round from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.” And he was so cute and so kind, and I was so excited, and I said, “Oh my god, did anybody get that on tape? Please tell me somebody got that on tape!””

Ke Huy Quan continues on the story to say how lucky he feels to be filming alongside a longtime fan of his previous films, noting how incredible it was to be a part of Marvel’s Loki team: “He was incredible. We laughed so hard and… I didn’t want that shoot to end. So hopefully we will go back for some more… reshoots. I don’t know when, but I can’t wait to see all of them again.”

Seeing the Indiana Jones star quickly getting along with the MCU cast is so satisfying to see. Looks like Feige wasn’t wrong when he personally handpicked Quan for the yet-to-be-disclosed Loki Season 2 role. But seeing that Quan is working closely with Hiddleston might hint at a major part in the second season. I guess we’ll have to wait for further details on this.

For now, Loki Season 2 is expected to be released on Disney+ this summer.
