Tom Hardy Shares Venom: Let There Be Carnage Teaser

It was a bit of good news/bad news yesterday when it came to Venom 2. On one hand, the movie was delayed from its October 2020 release to June 25, 2021, taking the place of DC's The Batman. On the other hand, the movie's title was revealed, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and fans are loving how blunt Sony is about the sequel being a big showdown between Venom and Carnage.

While no new footage has been shown, Tom Hardy has decided to share a brief teaser of the upcoming Venom sequel and it's pretty cool. It's just the title but seeing the word Carnage goes red is definitely going to get comic book fans talking, which is the main point of this teaser anyway. Yeah, it's not the most exciting thing in the universe but it looks cool and that's what matters the most.

Though it was far from a perfect movie, Sony's Venom was able to reel in a lot of fans and money thanks to the strength of the title character alone. The movie's story wasn't anything special and its villain sucked but seeing Hardy's Eddie Brock interact with Hardy's Venom was pure joy. Seriously, if the sequel is more of Brock having whacky conversations with Venom, it could be a winner.

Due to the Coronavirus affecting everything and everyone, Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been moved to June 25, 2021.
