As Disney+ continues to add more anime to its lineup, it should come as no surprise that Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc is also coming to Disney+ when it premieres later this year.
The upcoming season’s Disney+ release was confirmed by the platform recently as it announced its new lineup of shows from Asia Pacific.
Specifically, the streaming giant is bolstering its lineup of Korean content with a wide range of titles.
Plus, Disney+ is also adding even more shows from Japan as it looks to increase its anime footprint.
Disney+ Continues to Strengthen Its Anime Lineup
Looking back a decade or so, there weren’t a lot of streaming platforms available for anime fans.
Because of this, many fans outside Japan had to go sail the seven seas, so to speak, if they wanted to watch the latest episodes of their favorite anime.
Now, most seasonal anime titles are streamed on many services. Many shows are released on anime streaming sites like Crunchyroll and HIDIVE.
Meanwhile, even the big players like Netflix and Hulu are also distributing new anime shows.
Among these platforms is Disney+, with the platform getting exclusive streaming rights for shows like Summer Time Rendering and Bleach: TYBW (except in the US where it is available on Hulu).
On top of these, Disney+ is also working on original anime projects that will be released soon such as PHOENIX: EDEN17.
Moreover, Disney also expanded its partnership with Kodansha. This is likely the reason Heavenly Delusion was streamed on Disney+ (given that the manga is published in a Kodansha magazine).

Tokyo Revengers Season 3: Tenjiku Arc Will Stream on Disney+
Another highlight of the Kodansha partnership is Tokyo Revengers, the popular anime that’s based on the manga which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
While the first season was streamed in the US on Crunchyroll, the Christmas Showdown Arc was instead a Hulu and Disney+ exclusive.
Given this, it’s no surprise that the Tenjiku Arc will also be streamed on Disney+.
But given the previous season, it’s likely that this arc will be streamed on Hulu in the US.
Though it’s billed as a new season, the Tenjiku Arc will be released later this year – just less than a year after the end of the Christmas Showdown Arc.
Tokyo Revengers Season 3: Tenjiku Arc will be released in October.
As of now, there’s no word yet on how many episodes the anime will have.
