The day before the battle, Mitsuya asks for Taiju's help. Taiju asks if he gains anything in exchange. Mitsuya says he gets nothing. However, he also says that Taiju has a chance to see the fight between Takemichi and Mikey unfold.
Taiju introduces himself as the sixth division captain of the second-generation Tokyo Manji Gang. This leaves the others shocked. Taiju tells Takemichi that from experience, he knows Takemichi is the only one who can beat Mikey.
Taiju cheers Takemichi on, saying he'll open a path going to Mikey. They start running, and Taiju effortlessly knocks away multiple Kanto Manji Gang members at once.
Hakkai is still surprised to see Taiju fight for someone else. Mitsuya says Takemichi charmed him since he saved the Shiba siblings too.
Takemichi is amazed at Taiju and compares him to a bulldozer. Koko and Inupi watch Taiju from afar. Koko says Taiju's fighting is crazy, while Inupi calls him a demon.
At this point, Taiju has knocked out a lot of Kanto Manji Gang's members already. Eventually, Benkei and Waka show up in front of him.
