In the most recent chapter of Tokyo Revengers, Senju reveals something terrifying about her childhood. It looks like Mikey's "dark impulses" go all the way back from when he was a kid.

When Mikey, Haruchiyo, Senju, and Baji were in elementary, Mikey had a special plastic model of an airplane. Baji, Senju, and Haruchiyo also wanted to play with it, but Mikey doesn't want them touching his stuff.

When Senju said she also wanted a plastic model of the plane, Takeomi scolded Haruchiyo because Senju was using the masculine version of "I" to refer to herself. He tells him that he has to be a good role model to his younger sister.

It turns out that the Akashi family is raised by a single father who was always busy, so they were often at their grandma's with Takeomi serving as the father figure. Senju reveals that even though Takeomi scolded Haruchiyo because of her, he was still somewhat nice to her.

However, Haruchiyo eventually got tired of being scolded by Takeomi for whatever Senju did. One day, Senju played with Mikey's airplane while no one was home. While running around with it, she tripped and broke the toy.

When Mikey asked who broke his plastic airplane, Senju said it was Haruchiyo who did it. Later on, she hears Baji screaming. She rushed outside and saw the sides of Haruchiyo's mouth ripped, Mikey's hands covered in blood, and Baji on the floor.

Senju tells Takemichi that Mikey's expression that day was the same look he had during the War of the Three Deities. Mikey tells Haruchiyo to laugh, and he follows. Senju blames herself for what happened to them. She knows she has to do something about it, but she thinks it's too late to fix things now.

Takemichi tells her that it's not the end. He tells Senju that they can still turn things around.
