Today’s Webtoon will finally take the viewers to the world of webtoons.
After a long wait, the Korean adaptation of the Japanese hit series Sleepeeer Hit! is finally coming to the small screen.
The upcoming drama explores the life of a former judo athlete who decides to be part of the webtoon editorial department after an accident affects her capacity to join the Olympics. But the character faces no smooth path to becoming a true webtoon editor.
Ahead of Today’s Webtoon episode 1 release, the main cast members shared what viewers should expect from the K-drama.

Today’s Webtoon Episode 1 Is Finally Coming
In an interview shared by MyDaily, Kim Sejeong, Nam Yoon Su, and Choi Daniel talked about their upcoming K-drama.
According to the former gugudan member, Today’s Webtoon will show all sides of people’s dreams, including the dark ones.
“What makes ‘Today’s Webtoon’ so charming is that it doesn’t just show the bright and cheerful side of dreams, but also captures all of the dark and unglamorous sides,” she said.

Kim Sejeong also opened up about her character, On Ma Eum, and her newfound dream after losing her chance to become part of the Olympics. By watching the drama, she pledged that the viewers would gain positive energy from On Ma Eum’s story and journey.
Nam Yoon Su, meanwhile, said that he was able to learn what happens in the webtoon industry while playing his role in the K-drama adaptation.
For Choi Daniel, on the other hand, the drama left him with a lot of questions, including about the responsibility of an adult.
