Despite the fact that Marvel Studios, Sony Pictures, and even Tom Holland himself have already debunked the rumors surrounding Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire potentially reprising their roles in Spider-Man: No Way Home, webheads all around the globe are still pretty convinced that the two former Spidey actors will suit up once again to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As it stands, we still know very little about the third MCU Spider-Man project other than it's being dubbed by Holland himself as "the most ambitious superhero film" in history and the fact that they've been able to keep everything under wraps so far is honestly quite impressive because normally, tipsters and most especially paparazzo would already have insider scoop regarding the film.
Now, in a stunning new development, a Spanish voice actor may have leaked Maguire's involvement in the highly-anticipated sequel. In a recent appearance on the ELSOTANODELPLANET YouTube channel (via The Direct), Roger Pera revealed that he'll be doing voice work for No Way Home. Interestingly, Pera has served as Tobey's Spanish dubber not only in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy but in other projects like The Great Gatsby and Pawn Sacrifice.
It's worth mentioning that Evan Peters' supposed Spanish dubber for WandaVision got fired months ago after claiming that the actor was actually playing Quicksilver in the series. Now, considering Marvel's level of secrecy and their strict DOAs when it comes to these projects, it's safe to assume that the voice actor is also in trouble for disclosing his involvement in the project and possibly revealing Tobey's appearance in the film.
Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas in December.
