Tobey Maguire Makes Spider-Man Comeback in Epic No Way Home Fan Teaser

Spider-Man: No Way Home is already shaping up to be Marvel's most important comic book film since Avengers: Endgame and the hype surrounding it isn't that hard to understand. For a full year now, there have been persistent rumors linking Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe offering and while it sounded a little too good to be true at first, more fans are starting to get convinced that they will appear in the project which Tom Holland claims is the "most ambitious" superhero film ever made.

The rumors about Maguire and Garfield's involvement in No Way Home have also been supported by multiple "credible" sources and considering some of their respective foes make up the film's Multiversal Sinister Six, it's already a no-brainer that the two Spider-Man actors will in fact show up in the film. Still, despite all the obvious pieces of evidence, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have continuously denied their casting.

With only a month before its theatrical release, fans are wondering when the studios will actually pull the trigger to hype up the team-up between Tobey, Andrew, and Tom. Now, while we wait for the next trailer to drop, deepfake artist stryder HD took the liberty to give us what we've been dying to see for years. On YouTube, he posted an amazing "teaser" featuring all three actors and it's honestly getting us a lot more excited about the possibilities. Check it out here:

There's a good chance that Maguire and Garfield's appearances will actually take place in the film itself to keep the element of surprise going. Now, if you still don't believe that they're appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, just think about this, Marvel and Sony wouldn't pass on the chance to create arguably the biggest crossover event in superhero film history. It'll be a huge missed opportunity.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 17, 2021.
