Spider-Man Star Tom Holland Reportedly Not Thrilled with Possibility of Working with Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield

Although Sony has already debunked rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's alleged involvement in the third MCU Spider-Man film, that isn't going to stop fans from keeping their hopes up and praying that a crossover still sees the light of day. However, despite the fact that a lot of webheads are thrilled with the idea of all three Spider-Man actors coming together in one massive film, a new report claims that one actor isn't too pleased with the possibility of Tobey and Andrew returning.

According to the folks over at We Got This Covered, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's one and only Spider-Man Tom Holland is quite unhappy with the said rumors contrary to the belief that he's more than willing to see a live-action Spider-Verse film go down. WGTC's source claims that Holland wants the third Spidey film and future projects all to himself. Of course, this is just a mere rumor so take everything with a grain of salt.

Considering the report implies that Holland is feeling a little threatened with Maguire and Garfield's possible entry to the MCU, I personally think that he has nothing to worry about. I mean, he's already established himself as a great Spider-Man actor, and adding Tobey and Andrew to the mix could help elevate his portrayal which quite frankly lacks a little complexity. And I can't stress this enough, a live-action Spider-Verse film has the makings of becoming the biggest crossover event in comic book film history so it totally needs to happen, one way or another.
