To Your Eternity Episode 14 Recap
To Your Eternity is adapting an award-winning manga series written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Oima, who is also the author of A Silent Voice. In it, we follow the story of a mysterious immortal being who first comes to the earth nameless and emotionless. The being, who comes to be known as Fushi can take any form but starts with no identity and becomes increasingly human through stimulation.

Fushi, now trapped on an island full of dangerous prisoners, is coerced into participating in violent combat that reminds a Roman arena, whereby the victor becomes king of the island. Upon realizing that he's immortal, many children, led by a girl named Tonari, try to befriend him and show him around.
Fushi is soon disgusted by their company and unsettled by their ability to smile and laugh in such an awful and violent place. He leaves them as soon as he can, but not before Tonari, a child of prisoners, informs him that Pioran poisoned at least 10 people in the past. In fact, Tonari was sent to encourage her to enter the ship leading to the island of prisoners, as the old woman was wanted for a long time.
Fushi is upset to hear that and resolves to find Pioran and escape. Unfortunately, this turns out to be too hard a feat even for him, so he's eventually forced to fight in the arena again. While he's reluctant to kill, he ends up doing so, as his opponent refuses to take him seriously. He ends up delivering the final blow in the form of Parona, whose shape he manages to take simply from memory, although she's not dead as far as we know. What now?
