The season finale trailer for Titans has just been dropped and it looks like the DC Universe series is going out with a bang. In addition to Batman making an appearance, the teaser also confirmed at least one major death.
The trailer opens with wheelchair-bound Jason Todd visiting Dick Grayson to ask for his help. "It's Batman," Jason says. "He's in trouble."
It looks like the city of Gotham has turned into a complete mess. Jason reveals, "Commissioner Gordon is dead." Unfortunately, the death of his friend had a horrible effect on Bruce Wayne. "Batman is going to kill the Joker," Jason confirms. "You need to come back to Gotham and convince him not to do it."
There is little doubt that Commissioner Gordon's death is not the worst thing that could happen in the season finale. The trailer also reveals that other villains will end up dead in the episode. There are dramatic shots of Two-Face, the Riddler, and the Joker's demise.
It looks like Dick will have to prevent Bruce from giving in to madness and killing innocent people. Or is he too late? We'll find out when the episode finally airs on DC Universe.
Batman's possible appearance in Titans has been speculated since the show's pilot episode. However, the series only featured references at the Caped Crusader until now. Luckily, the trailer confirms that Batman will be a major part of the season finale. Let's just hope that Robin will manage to stop Bruce from doing the worst thing possible.
