After the recent release date announcement, a new trailer for Tiger & Bunny Season 2 Part 2 has been released.
Uploaded on the BN Pictures official YouTube channel, this trailer gives us an action-packed taste of what to expect ahead of the release this fall.
The trailer also previews the song "kaleido proud festa" by Japanese teen pop band, UNISON SQUARE GARDEN.
Tiger & Bunny Season 2 is split into two cours, with the first cour being released on Netflix last April. The first half of season 2 featured 13 episodes. The upcoming second half meanwhile, includes episodes 14 to 25.
Tiger & Bunny is an anime series directed by Keiichi Sato and animated by Sunrise. The series’ first season consisted of 25 episodes and was released back in 2011.
The show also inspired several manga series, along with a spin-off anime series entitled Double Decker! Doug & Kirill.
Tiger & Bunny is set in a futuristic city where superpowered individuals started appearing, with some of them becoming superheroes. In this city, superheroes fight crimes while promoting sponsors on their costumes.
The story follows Wild Tiger, an old-school hero who is assigned a partner in Barnaby Brooks, Jr. Unfortunately, the two heroes have completely different views on how a superhero should act.
Season 2 of Tiger & Bunny was announced in 2020 – nearly a decade after the release of the first season. Unlike the first which was animated by Sunrise, season 2 is animated by Bandai Namco Pictures.
The second season was released on April 8 on Netflix. As with most Netflix anime shows, all 13 episodes of the series’ first half were released on the same day.
Tiger & Bunny Season 2 Part 2 will release on Netflix on October 7, 2022. Much like Part 1, it’s expected that all Part 2 episodes will release on the 7th.
