Thor: Ragnarok’s Prelude Comic Will Have a Hulk-size Surprise

Listings for upcoming tie-in products can be both a good and a bad thing, depending on where you are when it comes to potential leaks.

If a new listing over Amazon proves to be legitimate, then the Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok Prelude paperback comic may actually hold clues to our beloved Green Goliath. The author of the listing is Marvel Comics, so there's a little more credibility in terms of it being a real project.

But what's even better is the fact that the synopsis pretty much hypes that we'd learn more about The Hulk's origins. Considering that Thor: Ragnarok will supposedly have him playing a bigger role, this gives the prelude comic an even bigger importance.

"The stage is set for 2017's far-out fantasy epic, Marvel Studios' Thor: Ragnarok! Catch up on the incredible events of Thor: The Dark World and learn where major players including Odin, Loki, and Thor himself stand ahead of the next blockbuster chapter in Asgardian lore! And revisit the origin of Ragnarok's other headline star, The Incredible Hulk! Plus: Classic comic-book tales featuring the two mightiest Avengers of all! Thor enters the underworld to face Hela—and the Hulk does savage battle on an alien world! It's cinematic action in the Mighty Marvel Manner!"

Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok Prelude is listed with a $10.01 price tag and an Oct. 17 release date. The timing is pretty good, given that Thor: Ragnarok will be out in theaters a week after on Oct. 25.
