Thor: Love and Thunder’s Very First Concept Art Revealed

Marvel might have been forced to shut down the production of its upcoming projects because of the spread of the novel coronavirus, but it looks like the COVID-19 pandemic isn't stopping Marvel director Taika Waititi from hyping up fans for Thor: Love and Thunder.

Enjoying his time on quarantine, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi decided to show some concept art for his second Thor movie, Love and Thunder.

The director was participating in a live-screen party of Ragnarok yesterday, and during the online event, Waititi decided to teasingly share some concept art from the next Thor movie.

Luckily, it seems like a Marvel fan attending the live-screen party managed to take a few snapshots of the concept art for the film.

Check it out down here:

The photos might not have the sharpest picture quality, but they do feature definitive concept art of a medieval-looking area that we can assume to be New Asgard. The art pieces also showcase a female Miek, an insectoid warrior forced to fight in the Grandmaster's Contest of Champions on the planet Sakaar. The photos also include a picture of a creature that we hope to see in Love and Thunder.

There's a whole lot of excitement building up over the next Thor movie. Love and Thunder is set to feature the return of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, this time as Mighty Thor. Details about Portman's version of the Mighty Thor have yet to be revealed. We can only wonder whether the MCU's version of Jane Foster is going to have cancer like how she did in the Mighty Thor comics.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set for release on November 5, 2021.
