Thor: Love and Thunder to Begin Production Sooner Than You Think

There is little doubt that fans can't wait to see Thor: Love and Thunder. But when exactly will we start seeing updates on the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick? Natalie Portman may have confirmed when the highly anticipated sequel will begin production and it's a lot sooner than expected.

Portman recently took part in Serena Williams' Instagram Live chat where the former Star Wars actress revealed she's already preparing to work on Love and Thunder. You can watch the full video below.

"We're shooting in Australia at the beginning of next year," Portman told Williams.

Portman isn't the only one with some juicy updates about Love and Thunder. It was previously reported that director Taika Waititi confirmed that the script is almost done.

"I think it's going really good. We've been writing the script off and on for over a year and… actually, this week, doing another pass on it," Waititi stated. "I want to make something that I've never done or never cared for. I would like to attack something like that."

It sounds like everything is on track for the fourth Thor film at this point. There is little doubt that Waititi will be done with the script before the end of the year and the cast and crew will be ready to begin production by early 2021. Needless to say, it's all very exciting and we can't wait to get more updates in the near future.

Portman will be joined by Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in Thor: Love and Thunder. The movie is scheduled for release on February 11, 2022.
