One of the most memorable characters in Thor: Ragnarok is Korg, who was voiced by the director himself, Taika Waititi. The character made a brief appearance in Avengers: Endgame and it looks he'll have an even bigger part in Thor: Love and Thunder.

The director recently had a Thor: Ragnarok watch party via Instagram Live where Waititi revealed a surprising detail about the upcoming movie. "We do touch on Korg's culture," he said. "Where he's from… if you look in the comics about Kronans, it's an interesting thing about where they come from."

Aside from that, Waititi didn't go further into details, but it is enough for those who are looking forward to seeing more of the character in the upcoming movie. It wouldn't be a surprise for the Thor sequel to explore more of Korg's post, since he is a character that fans have come to love and there isn't much information known about his origins.

Aside from Korg, another alien's appearance was asked about as well, Beta Ray Bill. The director was pretty vague about his answers. He notes that he would love to have the character in the movie, but he can't confirm yet since "things are a little up in the air."

As for the movie itself, there's not much known about the plot as well but it is said to introduce Natalie Portman's Jane Foster as the female Thor.
