The Witcher Showrunner Possibly Shared First Look At Triss Merigold

We already know that Netflix's The Witcher is currently in production but there haven't been a lot of promising photos from the show's set. However, it looks like Lauren S. Hissrich has offered a tiny glimpse at what Triss Merigold will look like in the highly anticipated series.

The showrunner has been posting a lot of updates from the set of The Witcher but has yet to share a picture of the actors at work. Interestingly, Hissrich has just tweeted out an image showing a woman with a green cape. Fans were quick to pick up on her curly dark hair that made her look like actress Anna Shaffer, who was recently cast as Triss in the series. Take a look at the image below.

We're not sure if that truly is Shaffer or another actress who will play a sorceress in the show. Some believe that the woman might be an elf but isn't one of the lead characters. Nevertheless, it's great to see that production on The Witcher appears to be going smoothly.

The only real glimpse fans have had at The Witcher has been the teaser featuring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. The Justice League star appears to be wearing a silver wig, yellow contacts, and not enough scars to be a convincing witcher. However, the video might be from a screen test and Cavill could end up wearing more prosthetics while shooting.

The Witcher has not yet been given an official premiere date. Nevertheless, fans are expecting to see the new series air on Netflix sometime in 2019.
