The Witcher Season 3 is currently in production but we haven't been able to get a lot of updates on what will happen in the series. Luckily, a new set video offers a small glimpse at what's happening on the show and it seems to confirm that Geralt of Rivia will be reunited with Jaskier yet again.
The Witcher Season 3 set video was originally shared by director Gandja Monteiro on Instagram. Although the post has since been deleted, it has been shared on Twitter. Check it out below.
We don't get to see much in the brief video since it focuses on the crew working with their filming equipment. However, fans have pointed out that there are two notable cast members in the background. Interestingly, it looks like Joey Batey as Jaskier and Henry Cavill as Geralt.
It's great to see them Geralt and Jaskier all over again. After all, the two had an awesome reunion in the second season and we can't wait to see them together again soon.
The Witcher Season 3 is one of the most highly anticipated series returns for Netflix in the next few months. However, it has not yet been given an official release date. There is a possibility that the third season will not be released later this year since the franchise is dropping the spin-off show The Witcher: Blood Origin in 2022. The third season of The Witcher will also bring back Freya Allan as Ciri and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer. For now, The Witcher Season 3 has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, the series is expected to return on Netflix sometime in 2023.
