The Witcher Season 3 will be the final outing of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia but that doesn't mean that the series ends there as he already passed down the torch to Liam Hemsworth to continue his adventures after The Witcher Season 3.

Speaking with Collider, The Witcher Season 3 showrunner Lauren Hissrich talked about the possibility of the season being released in the same manner as Stranger Things Season 4 but she revealed that while she prefers to have the episodes released at once, she's not closing doors on its possibility.

Hissrich said, "We haven't discussed that yet, but at this point I think what we see happening across all sort of streamers, I wouldn't rule it out. I do think that, obviously, we don't put anything out that we're not incredibly proud of."

With her statement, Hissrich hinted an updated release window for The Witcher Season 3, "That dictates our entire launch date. And I think it'll be interesting. Again, we have a way still a very long time, eight-ish months or so until Witcher Season 3 comes out. So God willing, we get it all out at the same time. But who knows, we'll see what happens."

Given the departure of Henry Cavill by the time The Witcher Season 4 comes out, the people behind the series seems to be prepared for what comes next for the beloved series. Indeed, when a door closes, another opens, and they seem to have no hard feelings to Cavill, too.

The Witcher Season 3 will follow Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer as they face dark magic and much darker political schemes. Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia banners The Witcher series as the monster hunter in a medieval world.

With Henry Cavill's Geralt of Rivia are Yennefer, a quarter elf portrayed by Anya Chalotra, Ciri, a magical princess played by Freya Allan, Joey Batey’s Jaskier, Eamon Farren’s Cahir, Anna Shaffer’s Triss, and MyAnna Buring’s Tissaia.

New additions to The Witcher Season 3’s cast includes Robbie Amell who would don the part of the elf warrior Gallatin, Meng’er Zhang who will portray the dryad huntress Milva, Hugh Skinner, and Christelle Elwin.

The Witcher Season 3 will be arriving on Netflix in Summer 2023, possibly by August.
