The Witcher Season 2 Shares First Creepy Deleted Scene

There is little doubt that The Witcher Season 2 was packed with monsters, prophecies, and exciting new and returning characters. There were so many things going on that there had to be a few deleted scenes to make way for bigger moments in the series. Luckily, the first deleted scene has just been revealed and it's creepy enough to have us wondering what will happen to Ciri in the next season.

The deleted scene was shared by Netflix Geeked and it features Geralt of Rivia's return to Kaer Morhen only to find a terrified Triss Merigold cowering in a corner. The traumatized sorceress repeatedly tells Geralt that she "saw it" and that he can't protect Ciri from destroying them all. "You can't stop it," Triss warns the White Wolf, who walks away in frustration.

If you were wondering about the context of the deleted scene, it takes place in Episode 5 and is set directly after Triss guides Ciri in the Dol Durza where the princess sees visions through her bloodline. In addition to seeing her parents, Ciri encounters Lara Dorren who attacks Triss and doles out Ithlinne's prophesy.

The encounter was terrifying even for Triss considering that does in the Dol Durza should not be able to attack the living. With that in mind, it's understandable why she is terrified of Ciri and what the girl is capable of.

But is it possible that the worst is yet to come? Although the Wild Hunt has been teased throughout The Witcher Season 2, there is a possibility that we'll see it in full action in the next season. And with the unexpected twist involving Ciri's father, there is little doubt that big things are happening in the third season.

For now, the series has not yet been officially announced for a third season. In the meantime, The Witcher Season 2 is streaming on Netflix.
