It looks like The Witcher Season 2 will finally introduce a fan-favorite character. A page from the script of the Netflix series has just teased on Nivellen's arrival in the show.
The page was shared by Netflix and it offers a glimpse at a terrifying scene featuring Geralt of Rivia and a hapless family that gets caught in the middle of a monster attack. Check it out below.
In the scene, a merchant named Colin Coppercloth who is accompanied by his wife Meena and daughter Kira. When they arrive at a small village, they find it eerily quiet. The houses have their doors open with no lights in windows while others are completely shuttered.
The terror begins when Colin approaches a tavern asking for shelter and Meena is attacked. The attack leaves Kira covered in blood and screaming for help as her father is also whipped into the shadows. The scene ends with Kira running towards a mansion that is the only place lit up for the night.
Book readers might recognize the girl's name as well as the mansion described in the script. After all, they both appear in the Witcher novels and are connected to Nivellen. With that in mind, we might finally get to see Nivellen in action in The Witcher Season 2.
We won't spoil too much about what happens to Kira after she runs to Nivellen's mansion but we can assure you that this is something to truly look forward to. Hopefully, we'll get to see more pages from the scripts soon.
The Witcher Season 2 is currently in production and is expected to premiere on Netflix late next year.
