The Witcher Season 2 Reportedly Casts The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Actor in New Role

There is little doubt that The Witcher Season 2 will be introducing new characters who may have appeared in the games or the novels. But will these characters actually be played by the same actors who voiced them? A new report suggests that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt actor Alastair Parker will be joining the cast of the Netflix series.

According to Redanian Intelligence, Parker will be part of the cast of The Witcher Season 2. Parker is best known for providing the voice of Cleaver the dwarf in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but he won't be playing his character from the video game. Instead, it looks like Parker has been cast as a different character.

It has been revealed that The Witcher Season 2 is looking for an actor to play a character named "David" who sounds a lot like Dijkstra who has appeared in the games as well. However, it is important to point out that the casting has not yet been confirmed by Netflix. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Production on The Witcher Season 2 has previously been put on hold due to COVID-19. However, it looks like the show continues to look for actors so filming can resume as soon as possible. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
