There are big things happening in The Witcher Season 2. One of the things we already know is that Geralt of Rivia and Princess Ciri are heading for Kaer Morhen. However, it looks like the Witchers' old keep will be under attack. A new photo from the show's second season reveals the White Wolf preparing to fight and defend his former home.
The image was shared by Empire and it features Henry Cavill wielding his sword as his eyes appear to have gone completely black. This means he has taken one of his potions once again to enhance his powers. Check it out below.
It's a cool picture but it also reveals some interesting spoilers about The Witcher Season 2. The scene appears to be set in Kaer Morhen where Geralt is taking Ciri for safety and in order to begin her training. Fans believe that the White Wolf wouldn't use this much power if he was simply helping Ciri train. With that in mind, there is a possibility that the old keep will be under attack.
Although it looks like Geralt is the only one shown preparing for a fight, there is a possibility that he isn't alone. It is possible that the other Witchers like Vesemir are also part of the scene. Hopefully, we'll get to see more of them in the next few weeks.
The Witcher Season 2 is already set to bring Geralt and Ciri to Kaer Morhen. Additionally, we'll get to learn that Yennefer of Vengenberg survived the climactic battle in the previous season finale. But where is Yennefer and what has she been up to all this time? The truth will be revealed this December.
The second season of The Witcher will also bring back Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra. The series will return on Netflix on December 17, 2021.
