The latest The Witcher Season 2 clip sees Yennefer and Tissaia discussing the fallout from Yennefer's actions at Sodden Hill in Season 1. For those who are not familiar with Witcher lore, a Tissaia is a sorceress and a member of the Chapter of the Gift and the Art. She was one of the rectors at Aretuza and the author of The Poisoned Source. It's likely that this clip comes from one of Season 2's first episode.

We still don't know when exactly when this scene takes place, though Yennefer, Tissaia, and other magically inclined humans in the series largely consider the stronghold of Aretuza home. It looks like there are some political machinations going on as Tissaia tells Yennefer that they should let Vilgefortz (Mahesh Jadu) take credit for the victory at Sodden.

The Witcher Season 2 is said to be based on Andrzej Sapkowski's novels Blood of Elves and the beginning of Time of Contempt. In a featurette released on August 6, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich revealed that Season 2's first episode will adapt Andrzej Sapkowski's short story A Grain of Truth. Just like the first season, Season 2 will have a total of eight episodes.
