The Witcher's Roach Gets Her Own Season 2 Poster

It's almost here! The Witcher Season 2 is finally set to premiere this Friday and it looks like Netflix has an awesome treat to hype fans up for the show's return. A new poster for the upcoming season has just been revealed and this time, it puts the focus on Geralt of Rivia's beloved horse Roach.

The new poster for The Witcher Season 2 was shared by the Netflix Geeked Twitter account and the caption confirms that there are only four days left until the premiere of the new season. In addition to that, there's an awesome horse pun. Check it out below.

We're loving Roach's special poster although it does come a little late. On the other hand, it is also explained that the image was shared in time for National Horse Day so it's an acceptable delay. We're just happy that the poster was shared before the premiere of The Witcher Season 2.

Will Roach finally get more screentime in the second season? Fans noted that the horse didn't really appear too much in the first season. Still, there's a chance that Geralt's loyal companion will appear more in the future. Hopefully, there will be more Roach in Season 2.

The Witcher Season 2 will follow Geralt of Rivia as he takes Ciri to Kaer Morhen where she is set to begin her training. In addition to that, the series will reveal what happened to Yennefer after the events in the Battle of Sodden Hill. But will Yennefer ever get reunited with Geralt and meet Ciri? The truth about their destiny will finally be revealed this Friday.

The Witcher Season 2 will bring back Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer. The series finally returns on Netflix on December 17, 2021.
