The Witcher: Henry Cavill Shares New Photo of Geralt in Season 2

The premiere of The Witcher Season 2 is only a couple of weeks away but Henry Cavill wants to make sure fans are all hyped up for the show's return. The Justice League star has just shared a new image of Geralt of Rivia and even made a Warhammer reference in his post!

It's no secret that Henry Cavill is the kind of gaming nerd who just can't stop doing gaming nerdy things. The most recent nerdy thing he's done is make a Warhammer reference during WitcherCon because a chandelier in a Witcher Season 2 still "looks like a Blackstone Fortress."

So it shouldn't be a surprise that Cavill has struck again, this time with a selfie of himself all suited up as Geralt and on the set of The Witcher. Although it's a photo of the White Wolf, Cavill wondered if the picture should be added to a Warhammer section. Check it out below.

"A little something from my private collection. I can't decide if this belongs in a Witcher or a Warhammer section.... maybe both? Neoth perhaps??" Cavill wrote. He then added the hashtags #TheWitcher, #Geralt, and #ObscureWarhammerReference.

Naturally, fans are loving the selfie. Although not everyone gets the Warhammer reference, they're truly happy about the photo of Geralt since we rarely get a Geralt selfie from Cavill. Either way, everybody is already looking forward to the show's return.

The Witcher Season 2 will bring back Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, and Anya Chalotra. The second season will follow Geralt and Ciri as they make their way to Kaer Morhen where the latter will begin her training. Elsewhere, Yennefer has survived the Battle of Sodden Hill. But will Geralt and Ciri manage to find Yennefer before it's too late? We'll find out for sure this December.

The Witcher Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on December 17, 2021.
