The Witcher Anime Nightmare of the Wolf Drops Action-Packed Japanese Dub Trailer

We already know that The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is an anime but the story will be told in English. Luckily, the new Netflix series is also getting a Japanese dub which just got an amazing action-packed trailer.

We already got a trailer for Nightmare of the Wolf that featured the voices of Theo James, Lara Pulver, and Graham McTavish. The previous trailer also focused on the serious side of the story as Witchers take a political stand.

In contrast, the Japanese dub trailer is downright fun and exciting as it displays Vesemir's humor as he goes monster hunting. There's plenty of new footage paired with the heart-pounding new song Hallelujah by ROTTENGRAFFTY and it confirms that the Witcher anime will be a vicious series to look forward to.

The Japanese dub voice actors for Nightmare of the Wolf have not yet been revealed. However, anime fans have noticed that Vesemir sounds very familiar. With that in mind, we can't wait to get an official confirmation on the identity of the voice actor.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf takes place several years before the events in the live-action main series. The anime will focus on Geralt of Rivia's mentor Vesemir and how he became one of the most important Witchers on the Continent.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will premiere on Netflix on August 23, 2021. The main series The Witcher Season 2 will consist of eight new episodes and is scheduled for release on December 17, 2021.
