Amazon Releases The Wheel of Time First Full Trailer Using YouTube's 360 Player

"The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills."

The Wheel of Time series is set to debut in November, and now, Amazon Prime has released the first full trailer for its upcoming epic fantasy series based on Robert Jordan's best-selling book series of the same title.

The trailer features a unique experience that uses YouTube's 360 Player and spatial surround sound to create an immersive experience. Moving to the left will show glimpses of the "One Power" channeling. Moving to the right will reveal the corruption of the Dark One, showing the threat he holds over the entire world.

The video also shares new looks at the cast, the misguided "Children of the Light", the dangerous trollocs, and other threats that the core cast will face over the course of Season 1. We can also see a glimpse of epic scenes featuring a lot of magical spells and high-fantasy action.

The official synopsis for Amazon Prime's The Wheel of Time series reads:

"The Wheel of Time is one of the most popular and enduring fantasy series of all time, with more than 90 million books sold. Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity."
