The Walking Dead’s Ross Marquand On Whether Or Not Red Skull Appears In Avengers 4

Avengers: Infinity War might have had a lot of different surprises for fans, but Marvel followers were pretty surprised when the Red Skull popped up in the first entry in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie. Now, with Avengers 4 on the way, Red Skull actor Ross Marquand talks about whether he might return to reprise the role again for the sequel to Infinity War.

Speaking in an interview with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman during the episode of Talking Dead (via ComicBook.com), Marquand was asked about his work with Marvel. The actor was in the middle of explaining how his The Walking Dead character had a prosthetic arm similar to Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet in Infinity War when Kirkman decided to shush Marquand quiet and ask him whether the Red Skull would pop up in Avengers 4.

"I don't know," Marquand stated. "I can't answer that question. I really don't know."

Of course, while his role in the film remains uncertain, Marquand is a pretty smart actor. The Red Skull star knows that Marvel would be pretty angry at him if he were to let slip his role as the iconic Captain America villain for Avengers 4. Marvel isn't very happy when its actors and actresses spread spoilers – look at how the studio reacts whenever Tom Holland accidentally gives out spoilers everywhere.

Fans will probably just have to hunker down and wait and see whether or not Red Skull's going to make it to the movie. Patience is key to everything.

Avengers 4 hits cinemas May 3, 2019.
