The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus Wants to be the MCU's Ghost Rider

It's no mystery that The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus loves motorcycles, and he thinks he would actually fit the role of one of Marvel's favorite motorcycle riders, Johnny Blaze a.k.a. Ghost Rider.

Appearing at a Walker Stalker Con panel (via ComicBook), Reedus was asked which comic book character he would love to play, to which he replied:

"Ghost Rider would be fun; Silver Surfer would be fun."

It's worth noting that a Ghost Rider already exists in the MCU, but seeing that he only appeared in Agents of SHIELD, Reedus could very well take over the role. Personally, I would rather that Reedus play the role in a Marvel film as compared to just TV. We know the production budget only allows us a few minutes of Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider. What more if Johnny Blaze was included in the mix.

As for Silver Surfer, we don't know what Marvel plans to do with the character yet. The merger with Fox is supposed to finalize by next year, and it would be interesting to see what Marvel has up its sleeves to introduce mutants and the Fantastic Four to the established MCU.

We don't know if Marvel would consider Reedus for a role in the MCU, but you can certainly catch him as Daryl in AMC's The Walking Dead.
