The Walking Dead Star Steven Yeun Cast In The Twilight Zone

Now that he's done with The Walking Dead, actor Steven Yeung has managed to find himself a place in Jordan Peele's upcoming revival of The Twilight Zone.

Collider has the latest news on The Twilight Zone, and according to the publication Yeun has been cast to play a part in the fourth episode of the anthology television series titled "The Traveler."

In AMC's The Walking Dead, Yeun played the part of Glenn Rhee, a young pizza delivery boy from the state of Atlanta who finds himself separated from his family after the zombie outbreak in the series. Sharp-minded and resourceful, Glenn becomes the primary supply runner of Rick Grime's (Andrew Lincoln)group. However, Glenn is killed by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the seventh season of the series.

Now, making his way to The Twilight Zone, Yeun will join other familiar actors like Adam Scott from the popular sitcom Parks and Recreation, John Cho from Searching, Jacob Tremblay from the Room, Sanaa Lathan from The Affair, and Allison Tolman from Fargo.

While there isn't that much information about The Twilight Zone episode "The Traveler," the publication writes that the fourth episode with Yeun in it will follow the story of a couple of cops and a mysterious traveler.

An anthology series, the original The Twilight Zone explored many different genres including science fiction, fantasy, suspense, psychological thriller, and horror. Each episode of the original series had a macabre and unexpected twist that ended with a moral lesson, making each story a cautionary tale to viewers.

The Twilight Zone reboot has yet to receive a release date.
