The Suicide Squad Features Unexpected Star Wars Actor Cameo

There is little doubt that The Suicide Squad had a lot of awesome surprises for fans who were looking for Easter eggs. However, the best one might be the secret link to the Star Wars Universe.

The James Gunn film actually featured one of the most hard-working Star Wars actors today. However, you would have to listen very carefully to guess who it is.

In The Suicide Squad, we get to meet Ratcatcher 2, the Belle Reve inmate who has the ability to communicate with rats. She is accompanied by an adorable and intelligent rat named Sebastian, who also bonds with Bloodsport throughout the movie.

Sebastian might seem like any other rat played by a regular rat in the film but there's a notable star who gave the furry little star its voice. It has been confirmed that Sebastian's voice was provided by none other than Dee Bradley Baker.

Baker is an established voice actor but his most amazing work would have to be in Star Wars: The Bad Batch where he provides the voice of all the members of Clone Force 99 as well as the other Clone Troopers that appear in the animated series. He is the man who gives Hunter, Echo, Tech, Wrecker, and Crosshair their distinct personalities.

It's hard to distinguish Baker's voice in The Suicide Squad but it's still awesome to know that Sebastian got his squeaks and quirks from the voice actor who plays all the Clone Troopers in the Star Wars animated shows.

The Suicide Squad is now screening in theaters and on HBO Max.
