Halloween is fun because everyone gets to dress up in silly costumes and walk around, and it's also great when celebrities participate. The kids from Stranger Things have also decided to dress up for Halloween, and a lot of them ended up going as Star Wars characters.
Check them out:
That's Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) as Leia, Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) as Han Solo, and Sadie Sink (Max) as Rey. Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) has decided to go as Bob Marley, with Noah Schnapp (Will) opting to go meta and dressing up as Eleven from Season 1.
It's interesting to note that Brown herself has expressed interest in playing Leia in a Star Wars movie, and with her all dressed up here, I can't help but think this is some kind of indirect audition. She's already proven herself a great actress with Stranger Things, but we have yet to see her take center stage in a box office movie. Let's hope that she shines in next year's release of Godzilla: King of Monsters, and maybe then we can see if Lucasfilm would consider her for a Star Wars movie.
Rian Johnson's film trilogy looks like a good place to start.
With the Halloween season having come and gone, a lot of fans were disappointed that Stranger Things 3 couldn't make the release. The show is set to wrap production this November, and by the looks of it, we could be getting a release sometime early next year.
Personally, I prefer the Halloween season releases.
Catch Stranger Things 3 on Netflix sometime next year.
