If Star Wars fans are looking forward to knowing more about Qimir aka The Stranger's backstory, The Acolyte showrunner has some bad news for you.

Will The Stranger Get His Own Spinoff Following The Acolyte?
In the short amount of time we've known who The Stranger is under his mask, fans of The Acolyte have been quite hopeful to know more about him, potentially in a second season or even in his own spinoff project.
The Acolyte showrunner Leslye Headland avoided sugarcoating the premise and confirmed that there is not much a spinoff can do about his character's existence.
"Because it's Osha's story, you don't know much about The Stranger's background and you're not really going to learn much about it," she said.
Fret not, however, as Headland revealed that episodes 6 going forward have plans on unveiling more secrets behind The Stranger's mask, especially since they haven't written episodes for a potential The Acolyte season 2.
"But there are a bunch of things in episode 6 and episode 8 that are really big clues as to why he is the way he is and why his philosophy is the way that it is."

"I think there's enough stuff in the last few episodes that you would want to have answered," Headland added.
As compelling as The Stranger is to explore in the Star Wars franchise, he's better off keeping his mystery than unraveling it for the audience. If anything, this would keep the interest on Manny Jacinto's Sith apprentice.
The showrunner admits that she has spent enough time working on The Acolyte to know which character development needs to happen up to a possible fourth season, "So I look forward to working on that, but right now, I haven't."
As of writing, there is no confirmation on whether or not The Acolyte season 2 is happening. So, stay tuned for more updates on this story.
