It has been a long time but we finally have a huge update on The School for Good and Evil. The first teaser for the upcoming Netflix film has just been revealed and it features our first look at Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron as Professor Dovey and Lady Lesso, respectively. In addition to that, the first poster has been unveiled.

The teaser for The School for Good and Evil was dropped during the second day of Netflix Geeked Week. It offers fleeting glimpses at best friends Sophie and Agatha, who are played by Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie, respectively. We also see Professor Dovey and Lady Lesso together and looking very friendly.

It didn't take long before the first poster for The School for Good and Evil was shared by the Netflix Film Twitter account. The poster doesn't show any of the characters but it does show the school along with the stymph that carries Sophie and Agatha to the tower.

The official synopsis for The School for Good and Evil reads as follows:

“In the village of Gavaldon, two misfits and best friends, Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie), share the unlikeliest of bonds. Sophie, a lover of fairy tales, dreams of escaping her ordinary village life, while Agatha, with her grim aesthetic, has the makings of a real witch. Then one night under a blood red moon, a powerful force sweeps them away to the School for Good and Evil — where the true story of every great fairy tale begins.”

The School for Good and Evil is based on the 2013 novel by Soman Chainani and will also star Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, and Peter Serafinowicz. The film has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere on Netflix in September 2022.
