Max has released the official teaser trailer for the upcoming The Batman spinoff series The Penguin.
Following the huge success of The Batman, it was announced shortly after that a spinoff series starring Colin Farrell's Oswald Cobblepot is moving forward. It will focus on his rise to power in the Gotham City underworld.
Production began during the spring of last year. However, it was interrupted by the Hollywood labor strikes that lasted for a few months. Filming eventually resumed weeks after it ended.

The Penguin Releases Official Teaser Trailer
Today, Max has finally unveiled the official teaser trailer for The Penguin. They also announced that the series is set to premiere this fall.
The preview focused on Oswald's monologue about the crime boss that he encountered in his childhood and how he inspired him to become a prominent figure in the crime underworld of Gotham City.
They also showed brief glimpses of the supporting characters and the violent moments that Oswald will get himself involved in on his quest to become the notorious Gotham gangster.
While the teaser didn't necessarily give us an idea about the main story of the series, it is still an exciting tease on the next chapter in The Batman saga and the fan-favorite villain's solo adventure as fans are patiently waiting for the sequel.
Aside from Farrell, the series also stars Cristin Milioti, Michael Zegen, Clancy Brown, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Carmen Ejogo, François Chau, Theo Rossi, and David H. Holmes.
The Batman director Matt Reeves is involved as one of the executive producers of the series alongside Farrell and showrunner Lauren LeFranc.
