Marvel Studios may be skipping out of San Diego Comic-Con 2020 this year, but 20th Century Studios is going to be bringing The New Mutants to Comic-Con@Home. Just in, we have a new teaser for the movie, and it announces the date of the New Mutants panel.

In one week, the New Mutants are coming to #ComicConAtHome! tune in on Thursday, July 23 at 2pm pt and join Ira Madison III in a special virtual panel with the cast and director Josh Boone. check out this special look now!
Though the Fox Marvel timeline had supposedly been closed with X-Men: Dark Phoenix, it looks like director Josh Boone has been allowed to go all out with this one last stab at the universe. Word has it that the movie is a hundred percent his vision, and it's definitely how you want to end the franchise properly, unlike the mess that was Dark Phoenix.
I have to admit, a lot of people were starting to get skeptical about the release of The New Mutants, seeing as the movie had been constantly delayed. With the trailers that have come out though, a lot more people are getting excited for this horror/superhero film. While I'm sure there was probably room for a sequel, I'm hoping that this manages to cap off a completely told story.
Who knows, maybe they can even find a way to integrate this to the MCU, give a whole new meaning to New Mutants.
No release date has been set for The New Mutants, but the panel takes place on 2 p.m. July 23 on Comic-Con@Home.
