The Morning Show Season 2 just explored a new storyline centered on lead star Reese Witherspoon.
In last week's episode, Witherspoon's character, Bradley, partially came to terms with her sexuality.
With the help of her new mentor and new love interest, Laura (Julianna Margulies), it seems that the rest of the episodes for The Morning Show Season 2 will continue to explore their professional and personal relationship.

Is There Hope For Bradley, Laura To Date In The Morning Show Season 2?
In last week's episode titled Kill the Fatted Calf, Bradley and Laura already sparked a romance. But the former decided to immediately cut things off after she and Laura argued over labels.
Laura, for her part, felt that Bradley was so hesitant to identify herself as being queer. And this is something that she cannot accept because she was previously fired from her hosting job for being gay.
That was in the 90s, so Laura hoped that people like Bradley could stand up for themselves more and proudly voice out their true sexuality.
Even though the scene ended with Bradley and Laura calling it quits even before things progressed, there's hope for the two to explore their relationship further.
After all, Margulies has been cast as a series regular in The Morning Show Season 2.
Reese Witherspoon's Character Wasn't Initially Written As Queer
While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Ehrin said she didn't immediately think that Bradley was queer. The idea just came to her while she was having a conversation with Witherspoon.
After all, Bradley's love life was not explored in The Morning Show Season 1.
"I had never really written Bradley's love life. I never focused on it. And sometimes, characters reveal themselves to you. It's not like you have all the pieces at first. You're dealing with instincts of a character and following those and then they reveal other things," she explained.
Ehrin also said that she came up with the idea of introducing Laura on the show to serve as a Diane Sawyer-like mentor for Bradley. But when Laura saw Bradley for the mess she truly is, she became more drawn to her.
Julianna Margulies Talks About The Morning Show Season 2
The actress recently spoke with Variety about her role in The Morning Show Season 2.
Margulies said that she was impressed with the series creators and writers because they decided to bring a third woman into the hit Apple TV series.
The actress acknowledged that Jennifer Aniston and Witherspoon are two of the best performers in the industry today. So, to bring a third actress and to try to upset the balance between them was pretty impressive.
"Hats off to that, because the truth is women are more afraid of women. They dress for women. We don't dress for men. We dress for each other. We want to impress each other much more. It made so much sense, and I thought, ‘Ah, a show that gets women. This is great,'" she said.
Margulies also said that she is open to reprising her role in The Morning Show Season 3. However, Apple TV has not yet ordered more episodes for the show as of press writing.
What Happened To Laura, Bradley In The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 5?
In The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 5, titled Ghosts, Laura and Bradley are back together.
During one of their slumber parties, the two professionals talked about Alex (Jennifer Aniston).
Laura warned Bradley against Alex because the former is convinced that the latter was the one that outed her years ago.
Bradley's new love interest also told her that Alex froze her out in the worst moment of her life.
By the looks of it, Laura's revelation will cause more tension between Bradley and Alex. And it's only a matter of time before audiences know which side Bradley is on.
