There are several reasons why fans are looking forward to The Matrix Resurrections. After all, we want to see Keanu Reeves as Neo all over again. However, Jessica Henwick says there's another character to watch out for this December. The new addition to the Matrix cast is hyping up Carrie-Anne Moss's return as Trinity in the upcoming sequel!
One of the first things we learned about The Matrix Resurrections was that it would bring back Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity, respectively. This was truly exciting news for fans who are well aware of all the action sequences these characters get themselves into.
Not surprisingly, even Jessica Henwick is excited to see both characters in action. However, she also pointed out to Collider that Trinity is the one to look out for.
"I’m excited for fans to get to see Keanu. We love him. We love him as Neo. He’s amazing. He is the beating heart of the film and he can do no wrong. So, I think fans are really gonna enjoy that," Henwick said. She then added that Moss' return is something to look forward to.
"Carrie-Anne has a really interesting role in this film and I think a lot of people are gonna be happy with her work. That’s really what I’m excited to see," Henwick continued.
Now that's an intriguing comment considering that Trinity only has a few scenes in the trailer. However, there is little doubt we will learn more details in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
The Matrix Resurrections also stars Jada Pinkett-Smith, Lambert Wilson, Daniel Bernhardt, Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian Daniel Bernhardt, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Eréndira Ibarra, and Christina Ricci.
