The Matrix Resurrections Drops First Teaser


The wait for The Matrix Resurrections trailer is almost over. The first teaser from the highly anticipated sequel has just been dropped and it confirms that the official trailer will be released this week.

The trailer for The Matrix 4 was actually screened at CinemaCon in August but has yet to be released online. Although fans were hoping that it would be leaked after the event, it seems like Warner Bros. is keeping the trailer in a vault until this Thursday.

The first teaser for The Matrix 4 features the iconic blue and red pill along with the words, "The choice is yours." It then confirms that the trailer will finally be released on Thursday, September 9 at 6:00 pm PT.

This is great news for fans who have been waiting for The Matrix 4 for a really long time. After all, the sequel is due to premiere in four months and we still haven't seen any footage. Luckily, we'll finally get to see Neo and Trinity in action again in the next two days.

The Matrix Resurrections is directed by Lana Wachowski and stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lambert Wilson, Daniel Bernhardt, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Eréndira Ibarra, Priyanka Chopra, Andrew Caldwell, Brian J. Smith, Ellen Hollman, and Christina Ricci.

The film will premiere on December 22, 2021.
