The Matrix 4 will feature some of the actors from the original trilogy including Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss. Fans have been waiting to see a glimpse of the pair's return in the upcoming movie ever since the film was announced and now, fans will get their first look of the two characters together in an epic set video.

The production for The Matrix 4 is currently underway in San Francisco. In the set video, the pair were filming a night-time stunt scene where Trinity rides a motorcycle through the streets with Neo as her passenger. The place was covered in thick fog while the pair passes through and makes a turn. You can check it out here.

As seen in previous set clips, Reeves seems to be sporting a longer hair and a full beard in this movie as opposed to Moss whose look is very similar to her appearance in the original trilogy. Although the two weren't clearly seen in the video, it looks like Reeves is wearing casual clothes in this scene as well, and isn't sporting his trademark leather garb.

There is very little information revealed about the upcoming film so it isn't clear on how the plot will explain both characters' returns. There are many possibilities as to how this would happen, but it looks like fans would have to wait and see how everything unfolds.

Aside from Reeves and Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith is set to return in the latest movie as well. Including newcomers to the franchise, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, and Jonathan Groff. Directed by Lana Wachowski, The Matrix 4 is slated for release on May 21, 2021.
