The Marvels: Brie Larson Posts BTS Photo Encouraging Fans to Theorize

One of the upcoming MCU films that are in the works is The Marvels, the follow-up to 2019's Captain Marvel. Just like most MCU projects, the exact plot details are still under wraps for now, but we do know that it will be a team-up between Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan and it will be some sort of continuation of the upcoming Disney+ series Ms. Marvel where Kamala Khan will make her debut first.

While there are conflicting reports that the film has either finished filming or is near its completion, star Brie Larson recently posted on Twitter behind-the-scenes photos of her and co-star Zawe Ashton, who is reportedly set to play the villain, posing together and looking happy. They are also wearing a shirt that says "Joy Division" on Ahston and "Villain Lovers Club" on Larson. The photo is accompanied by the caption, "Marvel fans, start your theories."

The photos don't really say anything about the film since we don't see the two actresses in costume and it looks like they were just happily hanging out together on the set. Larson might just be teasing in her caption since fans are known to speculate on the things that the people in the MCU would say in the interviews or post on social media. However, the shirts that they're wearing might be a little tease about their characters' dynamic.

It's hard to say right now what the plot of the film might be about since the details are still under wraps to the public. The only indication that Larson's post says is that Ashton is indeed part of the film and might possibly play the villain since Larson is wearing "Villain Lovers Club" next to her. All we can do for now is speculate and theorize while we're waiting for its release.
