I think we can all agree that Gina Carano is a bonafide newsmaker and the actress has been making headlines for a number of months now all thanks to her controversial social media posts which have gotten her in serious trouble. Carano suffered arguably the biggest blow in her career after Lucasfilm made it public that they're cutting ties with her, effectively ending her stint in The Mandalorian.

Besides the fact that Disney fired Carano over her socio-political views which have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, other details about her "souring" relationship with Lucasfilm have yet to be disclosed. We reported last week that Carano personally apologized to Disney for her social media behavior just days before her firing.

Now, a new Patreon scoop from tipster Daniel Richtman reports that long before Lucasfilm meddled with the issue, Carano's The Mandalorian co-star Pedro Pascal talked her out of removing her controversial posts. Initially, Carano would listen to Pascal but apparently, her urge to air her opinions was just too strong and got the best of her.

Pascal, to an extent, is also involved in the controversy as fans have been calling for the actor to get fired from the hit Star Wars spinoff show as well and suffer the same fate as his colleague. Pedro has yet to share his sentiment regarding Gina's firing but judging by his previous social media posts, there's no doubt that he has her back.

Meanwhile, The Mandalorian's third season is scheduled to start filming this April.
