Gina Carano is making headlines once again after Lucasfilm finally pulled the trigger and decided to fire her from The Mandalorian. This new development has generated a lot of mixed reactions from fans of the Star Wars franchise, with some people pretty pleased that the #FireGinaCarano movement ultimately became a success while others condemning the company for their "double standards" towards the actress.

Aside from Carano losing her coveted Star Wars role, the company's action figure manufacturer Hasbro has announced that they're officially canceling the production of Cara Dune figures which of course means no more future royalties for the former mixed martial arts fighter.

Now, in a stunning turn of events, the demand for Cara Dune figures went up and so did their prices following Carano's much talked about removal from the hit Star Wars series. Her 6-inch Black Series figures alone which originally sells at a retail price of 20 dollars are now being sold on eBay for a whopping 100 dollars and more and fans are going crazy over them. The previous week was nothing short of a roller coaster ride for Carano. After Lucasfilm's shocking revelation, Carano dropped bombshell news, announcing that she has scored an exclusive deal with The Daily Wire to direct, produce, and star in her own feature-length film.

It's pretty evident that not everyone in the Star Wars fandom was thrilled about the news surrounding Carano's The Mandalorian future. As it stands, Disney seems to be firm with their decision despite the growing number of complaints they've been getting from angry Carano supporters.

Even the show's lead star Pedro Pascal was dragged into the controversy and fans are now calling for him to also suffer the same fate as his former co-star. It's a messy situation for sure and Lucasfilm is probably just waiting for it to die a natural death. I guess we'll see.

Meanwhile, The MandalorianSeason 3 reportedly begins production in April.
