Star Wars: The Mandalorian is only a few days away until its premiere on Disney+. And while multiple trailers were recently released giving fans a first look on what the series will be all about, producer Jon Favreau revealed there will be another Easter egg to be featured in the show which will be a treat to fans of a classic Star Wars TV movie.

In a recent interview with MTV News, Favreau showed his fondness of the cult classic The Star Wars Holiday Special once again. The Mandalorian is said to feature nods to the larger universe for the loyal fans of the franchise. That includes either making a humorous reference to Life Day, or a prop that's been "appreciated by a core group over time." Favreau mentioned that there could also be some "big movements" within the show that pertains to storylines from Legends or in canon that people will surely recognize.

It isn't surprising to know that Favreau will include Life Day references since he has mentioned his love for the 1978 TV film before. Back in September, he talked about how he would love to do his own take of a Holiday Special and even urged the fans to let Disney+ know if they would want one.

With that said, there's no telling on how Favreau plans to put these references within the upcoming series. It is unlikely for these Easter eggs to be that big of a part of the show, but having these in The Mandalorian will truly be appreciated by many fans.
